Training Up My Child....
Of all the things I long to teach my daughter, it seems my love for a great wedge has now taken hold. Here's a little conversation we had Monday:
Her: (Putting on a pair of new, adorable, bejeweled wedges for Pre-K) I'm wearing these shoes to school today, 'kay Mom?
Me: Aren't you afraid they'll hurt your feet during playtime?
Her: Who cares if they hurt as long as they have great gems on them?
Translation: What's the big deal if they rub my feet to a blistery pulp as long as I look good climbing on the monkey bars?
That's my girl....
She so gets it.
